PSA Zeebrugge donates fluorescent vests to primary schools for road safety

On the first day of school last Friday, the pupils of d'Oefenschool primary school in Blankenberge were pleasantly surprised. PSA Zeebrugge handed out fluorescent vests to all pupils to ensure they are clearly visible in traffic.

With autumn just around the corner and the days getting shorter, it is crucial that children are clearly visible on their way to and from school. PSA, which attaches great importance to road safety, decided to support the pupils of no fewer than three schools by donating fluorescent vests to them. This gesture was welcomed with open arms by the school community.

“This donation is invaluable. It is crucial that our children are clearly visible on the streets, especially during the dark mornings and evenings. PSA has made a fantastic gesture that will benefit the safety of our children,” said teacher Veerle Vermoere of the 2nd grade at d'Oefenschool.

A total of 100 fluorescent vests for children were donated to three schools: d'Oefenschool in Blankenberge, De Bevertjes in Oedelem, and Veertjesschool in Lokeren. A family member of a PSA Zeebrugge employee works at each of these schools. With this donation, PSA Zeebrugge not only emphasizes the importance of road safety, but also demonstrates its commitment to the local community.
